MTC Signature Summer Program

This is an intensive program designed for highly-motivated students to advance their Chinese proficiency in a completely immersive learning environment. The program includes 4 hours of language class through Monday to Thursday and various types of activities such as field trips, cultural experiences, language partner interaction, and company visits. All the courses and activities are conducted in Chinese, and the program requires students to be proactive and take the initiative to participate in all activities. All the details of the program design are devoted to reinforcing your Chinese language skills and cultivating cultural competence.

Early Bird Waiver-
Applicants who make the tuition payment before April 2 DO NOT need to pay the registration fee.

Important Notes

The fee includes textbooks, handouts, field trips, culture classes, professional seminars, company visits, service fee of NTNU fitness center, access fee of NTNU library, and accident insurance.
The fee excludes international airfare, housing, daily meals, and the costs (meals, tickets, and transportation) of Language Partner Activities.
The costs (meals, tickets, and transportation) of Language Partner Activities are NOT included in the tuition fee. Students are expected to prepare at least USD200 for Language Partner Activities.
Living costs (including rent) in Taipei are about USD700 to USD1,072 per month. The rents for individual rooms in Taipei are around USD300 to USD720 per month. Rent cost excluded, students are expected to prepare approximately USD450 a month for living costs such as daily meals (the average cost of a meal may range from USD6 to USD20), transportation, and other personal expenses.
