The fee includes language classes, textbooks, handouts, field trips, culture classes,
professional seminars, company visits,service fee of NTNU fitness center, access fee of NTNU library, and accident insurance.
The fee excludes international airfare, accommodation, daily meals, and the costs (meals,
tickets, and transportation) of local lunch outing Activity and Language Partner Activity.
The NTNU dorm rooms are single sex. If you have a friend (same gender) attending MTC’s
Flagship program and applying for NTNU dorm as well, MTC can allocate you and your friend to share the dorm room.
Otherwise, it is not allowed to pick a roommate.
For additional living costs, students are expected to prepare approx. US$600 a month for
daily meals, transportation, and other personal expenses.
Prior to arrival, MTC will send you an email notification of the Online Reading and
Listening Assessment Test. Additionally, you will be arranged to take an Oral Assignment Test. Students’
class placements will be determined by the comprehensive assessment of the Online Reading and Listening Assessment
Test and Online Oral Assessment Test. These assessments will help place students in the most suitable class
level.
The minimum program size is 20 students, if the final student number registered in the
program is below 20, the program will be canceled. If the program is canceled due to low enrollment or other
uncontrollable factors, MTC will notify the participants via email and/or website announcement and refund the whole
tuition fee (including the non-refundable Enrollment Deposit) to the participants.
The deposit is NOT refundable. The tuition fee refund policy follows the NTNU policy:
90% of tuition will be refunded for applications submitted no later than the day before the program starts.
50% will be refunded for applications submitted before 1/3 of the program is completed.
0% refunds will be given for applications submitted after the semester is 1/3 completed.

MTC uses Zoom for online classes and will email students the account information before
the program start date. Students are required to bring a laptop from the U.S. for the online classes.
